F is for .....Frightened Rabbit!

No surprises here! Frightened Rabbit are in a completely different league to their more illustrious competitors Franz Ferdinand and The Fratellis. New single "Swim Until You Can't See Land" is a great taster for their much anticipated 3rd album "The Winter of Mixed Drinks". Catch them perform it live at 7pm on The Culture Show, BBC2.

As for the also-rans, The Fusiliers play The Mill on Thursday and are a band well worth keeping your eye on. As are the-hard-to-pigeon-hole FOUND. I suppose I'll play it safe with "experimental".

No mp3's for this post. Pay Peenko a wee visit for a shitload of Frabbit sessions!

Frightened Rabbit do N-Trance!

Heard a rumour that the guys had recorded a cover of cult 90's dance band N-Trance's "Set You Free"...... it's scary how well this works!

Frightened Rabbit - Swim Until You Can't See Land

Frightened Rabbit make a welcome return (with new member Gordon Skene formerly of Make Model) to the airwaves with new single "Swim Until You Can't See Land". If it's anything to go by, new album "The Winter of Mixed Drinks" will be a wee bit special!

Back in January, Frightened Rabbit popped into Rapal and recorded some tracks from outstanding second album "The Midnight Organ Fight".
