The Cinematics' Christmas mp3

All the presents are wrapped, the car is under an inch of snow and in little under 2 hours King Tuts will open its doors to The Cinematics. It's Christmas!

And as a special wee festive treat the guys are giving away their new Christmas track "Japanese Snow Queen". In their own words it's "Jeff Buckley fronting the Jesus and Mary Chain". Although with that hook I'd be tempted to add "...on the set of Karate Kid II".

As always, The Cinematics have produced a cracker! Have a listen for yourself and what the hell, have a wee sing-along too! Tonight's show should be good!

mp3: The Cinematics - Japanese Snow Queen

"JAPANESE SNOW QUEEN" (Reid/Goemans)
You're too cold for Christmas
How can you shake me down like this?
You look like some Japanese Snow Queen
And I'm melting in your empire
Don't wish me "Merry Christmas"
I've laid down my money, now break my heart

This music sounds like cats are playing
Electric-drills but it fills the tills
It's the coldest Hamburg night
But this brandy burns my brain
And I'm practically an orphan
Since my mother went insane
Don't wish me "Merry Christmas"
I've laid down my money, now break my heart
