P is for .....The Phantom Band!

Sad to say there's no place for The Proclaimers! Was toying with Primal Scream and newbies Punch & The Apostles too but in the end went for Glasgow's best "Proto-Robofolk sextet", The Phantom Band. They're supporting Frightened Rabbit on a few of their Scottish dates later this month and will be at The Arches in Glasgow on the 12th of December!

Debut album "Checkmate Savage" is a belter! You won't find many better songs this year than "Folk Song Oblivion" and "The Howling".
