(loving the jumper/tracksuit combo!)Now here's a cracking wee Edinburgh band for you to sink your teeth into! I first heard about Cancel The Astronauts when a demo copy of "Slow Dance At The Disco" found itself into my music collection (and lodged firmly in my brain!) a while ago. Their recent "I Am The President Of Your Fanclub (And Last Night I Followed You Home)" EP has been getting some decent reviews of late so I thought I'd have a wee listen to it on their MySpace and it sounds great!
Their King Tuts gig on the 10th December supporting The Bookhouse Boys (amazing mariachi-tinged post-punk rock! Just imagine The National jamming with The 3 Amigos!) is looking like being an early Christmas present!
