My next tip for 2010 is uber-talented Berliner Konstantin Gropper a.k.a Get Well Soon. Bought his debut album in Germany a few years back based on a review I noticed which had the words "Arcade Fire" amongst the four or five phrases I understood. "Rest Now, Weary Head! You Will Get Well Soon" was my favourite album of 2007 (released in 2008 over here!). In fact I'd go as far as saying it's the best album since Daniel Bedingf.... it's the best album ever recorded in someone's bedroom!This was bettered by last Christmas' "Songs Against The Glaciation EP" and in particular alternative Christmas single "Listen! Those Lost At Sea Sing A Song On Christmas Day".... not very cheery though!

2010 will kick off with the release of second album "Vexations" on the 8th of January. Here's a sneaky peak at lead single "5 Steps / 7 Swords" which sticks to the dark, orchestral format which has served him well so far... in Germany at least.
