This one was a no-brainer! In my opinion, and at the risk of spoiling who "F" and "T" are gonna be, Broken Records are up there with Frightened Rabbit and The Twilight Sad as the best bands in Scotland. You'll be hard pushed to find a better debut album this year! Be sure to catch them when they tour in November.
It does pain me though having to overlook Scottish indie-pop legends Belle and Sebastian! Also worth a peek is singer/songwriter Beerjacket.
