Broken Records announced last month that their Out On The Water EP will be digitally released by 4AD on November 2nd to coincide with their mini-UK tour which kicks off the next day in York. The tracklisting is ....

This cracking wee collection of songs recorded prior to the Until The Earth Begins To Part sessions is more folk-y than their outstanding debut album and while it may lack the energy of songs like "A Good Reason" and "If The News.....", the almost stripped back feel shows a new side to the Edinburgh 7-piece. In particular the slow-burning "A Warning" has crept into their live shows over the last year or so and is fast becoming a personal favourite.
